Being a massive fan of the game Mortal Shell and its creators, I was honored to take part in creating a few paintings that live within the mood and feel of the game.

The Ovate made promises of an end to war and human suffering. Promises all were desperate to hear. Myself not least, for I'd seen my share of tragedy. I scratched my name in their book, swearing myself to the deathless doctrine. My armor clattered on the ice as I knelt before them and asked myself if I would ever be worthy.

A ghoul creature without eyes that feasts on glimpses and rotten flesh.

Slave of Scorn
Slaves of Scorn use the weapons encrusted on their bodies to fight. They are slow and deal moderate damage. When their health drops below 30%, they will rip off their own heads and throw them to the character dealing poison damage.
