Synopsis
-
Designing Ken Blocks 90's Cossie V2 was a dream come true. It was amazing to collaborate with Ken and be able to design a car that would live outside the computer, in the real world, and driven by one of the best in the game.

Final Renders
These renders are a culmination of months of work. We meticulously focused on each and every detail of the CGI version to ensure that it would ultimately translate to the real world build.

In Real Life
It's hard to put into words the surreal experience of designing a car on a computer, then seeing it fabricated into a real functioning car, and topped off by now being driven and owned by one of my favorite race car drivers. I will just have to let these photos speak for me.

Design Frames
My goal with these frames was to find the project's creative voice and use it as an exploration in design. This stage of the design process is one of my favorites, because the content finally begins to reveal itself and take on a life of its own.

ALT Liveries
Utilizing the power of CGI, we were able to explore a few fun alternate livery options. Heavily inspired by the amazing BMW art cars, these design explorations were a homage to that era of automotive racing.
